Several students at FIHS have been meeting every week to do some creative writing and to think about the publication of a school magazine. We have talked about a lot of different ideas including different forms of writing as well as other creative forms such as photography and drawing to include in our publication. With such wonderful – and colorful – possibilities, we started wondering what would be the best way to actually publish the work. And then we had the idea of creating an online publication – a blog – where we could not only display our work but also hear back from our readers. So here we are! Each member will have a separate blog page which you can see listed at the right. Please visit us often and offer your comments to the things you see here. And if you are interested, why not join us on Thursday afternoons in room 322? All creative minds are welcome!

How do you see the work we did today as supportive of language learning? In what specific ways can you imagine using any of this in the classroom assuming you had the hardware and software resources availlable?
